Regular brown fused alumina abrasives are brown artificial corundum grains made from bauxite, rock tar, and iron scraps that are melted and refined at high temperature in a fixed arc furnace.
Compared with the brown fused alumina abrasive produced in a dumping furnace, it has lower brittleness.
These abrasives are economical and very suitable for the production of basic cutting and grinding wheels. They can also be used in combination with white corundum to produce special grinding wheels for shipyards, or as fillers for diamond and CBN resin grinding wheels.
A12 is sharp, low bulk density with strong self-sharpness. The resin abrasives of manufactured has better sharpness, good heat dissipation effect and high grinding efficiency, working for low carbon steel and alloy steel.
A15 is angular, medium bulk density. The resin & rubber abrasives of manufactured has good sharpness, durability, high grinding efficiency, working for low carbon steel, alloy steel and hard wood.
A18 is blocky, the particles are regular, neat, high bulk density, toughness, high durability. The resin & rubber abrasives of manufactured, widely used in heavy duty grinding wheels, working for carbon steel, malleable cast iron and more.
